Access and Shifts
Choose the shift model that matches where you want to work:
24 hours (3 shifts) – Stage bars (music days)
If you want to work at the bars by the stages on the festival site, you’ll take 3 shifts during the music days.
32 hours (4 shifts) – Camp + EOS (warm-up + music days)
If you want to work in West City/East City or at EOS, you’ll take 4 shifts spread across the warm-up days and music days (these bars are open during the warm-up).

Deposit: DKK 300 → choose DKK 400 in drink tickets (most chosen) or get DKK 300 refunded after the festival.
All you need to know:
🥂 Welcome bubbles: Start the festival right with welcome bubbles while you get an introduction to your bar and the task as a volunteer.
🍻 Cheap beer & drinks (as usual): During the music days, all Roskildebar volunteers get free draft beer and cheap drinks in our Roskilde Volunteer bar.
🥙 Food on all shifts: We make sure that you are well fed after each shift, so that you can return to camp with renewed strength.
📅 Shifts during the warm-up and music days: This year you can choose shifts on all days and find the package which is best for you.
👫🏻 Work with your friends: Choose your own shifts and work together with friends and campmates.
🍸 Experience not necessary: No previous bartending experience needed; our bars work like big teams, and the most important thing is your good mood.
❌ 18 years: You must be 18 years or older to be a volunteer at Roskildebaren.

As a volunteer, you get full access to the entire Roskilde Festival 2025 with 24 or 32 hours of work spread over 3 or 4 shifts. Work together with your friends and choose the shift package that suits you best.
What do you do as a volunteer at RoskildeBar?
You’ll be part of a fast-paced team with cold drinks and happy guests. These are the three things you’ll typically do:
🍹 Serve drinks & good vibes
You’re the face of the bar – smile, keep the energy up and serve fast.
🧊 Prep behind the bar
Mix simple drinks, restock and make sure the front never runs dry.
🧼 Keep the bar sharp
Help keep the area clean and organised, change kegs and grab supplies – so everything runs smoothly all day.
Close to the concerts
You’re working – but you still feel the festival.
The bars are placed right by Orange, Arena and EOS, as well as in West City/East City, so there’s atmosphere, high energy and music in the air while you’re on shift.
All you need to know:
Yes. Choose the same guard package and you will be together. We will let you know when the guard packages are ready (expected about a month before the festival) and then you just have to be awake and choose together.
As we approach the festival, we will send out information to all those who have registered - and then you can choose a standby package when they open.
No. Most of it is simple, and there are bar managers on site. You will also receive learning materials before the festival, so you can show up with confidence and certainty about your task - we believe this creates the best experience for you and your team.
The deposit is 300 DKK. Most people choose 400 DKK in drink tickets during the festival – you can also get 300 DKK back after the festival.
Please write to us as soon as possible so that we can find a solution. However, the deposit can only be refunded until May 1, 2026.
